"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us."
Our Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of House of God International Ministries based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. Our ministry and teaching are rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
We believe that there is one true and living God
Eternally in three Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; and that this trinity created all, upholds all and governs all
(Matthew 28: 19; Cir. 13:-14;Luke 3:22).
(Matthew 28: 19; Cir. 13:-14;Luke 3:22).
We believe in Scripture of the Old & New Testament
The Word of God, fully inspired, without error in the original, manuscripts, and the infallible faith and practice.
(Psalms 119: 89; 1 Peter 1:19 – 21; 2 Timothy 3:16).
(Psalms 119: 89; 1 Peter 1:19 – 21; 2 Timothy 3:16).
We believe in Divine Healing
Our God revealed Himself to us in His Holy Spirit seven redemptive names. The Word of God places great importance on names because it is important for us to know how God has revealed himself to us. One name meaning. “The Lord that healthe thee.” That is not just what God does…it is who he is.
(Exodus 15:26; Ex.23:25; Psalms 103:3; Proverbs 4:20-22; Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew. 8:2-3; Matthew 8:16-17; 1 Peter 2:24)
(Exodus 15:26; Ex.23:25; Psalms 103:3; Proverbs 4:20-22; Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew. 8:2-3; Matthew 8:16-17; 1 Peter 2:24)
We believe Laying of Hands has two main functions in the Word of God
First is to ordain an individual into particular ministry to which they have been called. In this instance it would be one of the fivefold ministries and/or the existence of the church who would lay hands on the person.
The second is the laying on hands for the purpose of imparting healing to the sick. The Word of God teaches the born-again believer the authority, power and commission of our Lord Jesus to lay hands on the sick in the Name of Jesus and become God’s channel to healing the sick.
(Hebrews 6:2; Deuteronomy 33:4-9; Acts 13:2-3; Mark 5: 22-23; Mark 8: 22-25; Mark 16: 16-18; Acts 5:12; Acts 28: 8-9

We believe in Anointing with Oil
Oil is a type, symbol of the Holy Spirit, anointing with oil is a physical act to show visibly the invisible anointing of the Holy Spirit upon another person or a thing. The anointing of the Holy Spirit, symbolized anointing with oil, had two main purposes. The purposes are: to symbolize sanctifying and setting apart of a person or an object as sacred and for the use of service of God, and to bring about healing of the physical body.
